Our Mission
Overall Mission Statement
Forecasted Africa works in Arusha District, Tanzania to strengthen the economic resilience of marginalized households, particularly smallholder farmers and pastoralist communities, by partnering with communities to design and implement human rights-based, community-led programs.
We deliver education, practical skills, entrepreneurship training, and promote decent work and inclusive economic opportunities, while leveraging technology and innovation to improve access to safe water and sanitation, enhance community health and well-being, and advance environmentally sustainable, climate-resilient livelihood and income-generating activities while re-culturing, equipping, and preparing young Africans to champion initiatives that translate the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the African Union’s Agenda 2063: The Africa We Want into tangible realities for the people, ensuring dignity, equity, and agency for all.
Our Vision
We envision economically resilient and environmentally sustainable communities in Arusha District, Tanzania, where marginalized households—particularly smallholder farmers and pastoralist communities—enjoy the full realization of their human rights, equitable access to education, improved health and well-being, reliable access to safe water and adequate sanitation, secure decent and dignified livelihoods, and the capacity to withstand and adapt to social, economic, and climate-related shocks through inclusive, appropriate technology and innovation.
This vision contributes to translating the African Union’s Agenda 2063: The Africa We Want into tangible realities for the people and advancing inclusive and sustainable development for present and future generations.
