Our Role
Forecasted Africa plays a strategic, multi-sectoral role in strengthening communities, institutions, and systems across Tanzania, particularly in Arusha District. The organization operates as a knowledge-driven, community-centered platform, ensuring that development initiatives are evidence-based, inclusive, and sustainable.
Key aspects of our role include
Evidence Generation and Research: Conducting 40–50 community-based assessments annually to provide actionable data across education, governance, environment, and social development sectors. These insights guide planning, implementation, and monitoring of local development initiatives.
Community Engagement and Empowerment: Facilitating platforms where over 60% of participants are youth and women, enabling marginalized groups to influence decisions and participate meaningfully in development processes.
Strengthening Accountability and Governance: Collaborating with local authorities and service providers to improve transparency, feedback mechanisms, and responsiveness. Pilot interventions have shown 20–30% improvement in responsiveness to community priorities.
Knowledge Translation and Capacity Building: Ensuring research findings and monitoring insights are translated into practical recommendations, dialogue forums, and capacity-building sessions for communities and local institutions.
Multi-Sectoral Integration: Linking education, governance, environmental sustainability, and social development to create holistic, measurable impact. Forecasted Africa reaches an estimated 10,000–15,000 individuals annually through integrated programs.
Through these roles, Forecasted Africa ensures that communities are active partners, local systems are strengthened, and development outcomes are real, measurable, and sustainable.
