Forecasted Africa recognizes that sustainable, scalable impact can only be achieved through strong partnerships that align local action with global development agendas. This understanding is rooted in SDG 17 — Partnerships for the Goals, which emphasizes the importance of multi‑stakeholder collaboration to mobilize resources, share knowledge, and implement solutions that leave no one behind (United Nations)
In Arusha District and across Tanzania, complex development challenges from childhood undernutrition and limited access to clean water and sanitation to climate vulnerability and educational inequity cannot be addressed by a single actor. For example, approximately 31% of children under five in Tanzania experience stunting due to chronic undernutrition, which has long‑term implications for health, learning, and economic productivity (DHS 2022). Partnerships enable Forecasted Africa to amplify its reach and effectiveness by working with government agencies, local civil society organizations, community leaders, academic institutions, and international development partners.
We collaborate with local government authorities to ensure alignment with national and subnational plans, including Tanzania’s Vision 2025 and the National Multisectoral Nutrition Action Plan, which emphasizes integrated approaches to nutrition and health(Tanzania Government). Our work with community‑based organizations and service providers strengthens local ownership and builds systems that endure beyond project cycles, contributing to institutional capacity and sustainability.
Forecasted Africa also engages with research institutions and technology partners to generate and apply evidence, fostering innovation that improves decision‑making and program quality. This aligns with global commitments under the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) to improve learning outcomes, particularly for girls and marginalized children (Global Partnership).
At the international level, we seek alignment with frameworks that support equitable financing, such as the Global Financing Facility for Women, Children and Adolescents (GFF), which aims to accelerate progress on health and nutrition outcomes through strategic investment (Global Financing Facility). By linking local action to global instruments, Forecasted Africa ensures that programs are evidence‑informed, scalable, and aligned with global development standards that emphasize inclusive partnerships, resource mobilization, and shared accountability.
Our partnership strategy extends beyond funding it emphasizes co‑creation, shared learning, and joint measurement of impact, strengthening the ecosystem for sustainable development in Arusha District and contributing to outcomes that resonate across Tanzania and beyond
