Our Mission
Forecasted Africa works in Arusha District, Tanzania to strengthen the economic resilience of marginalized households, particularly smallholder farmers and pastoralist communities, by partnering with communities to design and implement human rights-based, community-led programs. We deliver education, practical skills, entrepreneurship training, and promote decent work and inclusive economic opportunities, while leveraging technology and innovation to improve access to safe water and sanitation, enhance community health and well-being, and advance environmentally sustainable, climate-resilient livelihood and income-generating activities while re-culturing, equipping, and preparing young Africans to champion initiatives that translate the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the African Union’s Agenda 2063: The Africa We Want into tangible realities for the people, ensuring dignity, equity, and agency for all.
Forecasted Africa achieves this mission by:
Conducting research and data collection in at least 50 communities annually, producing evidence that informs local and district-level decision-making.
Facilitating community engagement and participation, ensuring that over 60% of participants are youth and women, amplifying marginalized voices in planning and monitoring development initiatives.
Supporting transparent and accountable governance, aiming to improve responsiveness and service delivery in targeted sectors by 20–30% based on monitoring indicators.
Promoting integrated, multi-sectoral approaches across education, environment, social development, and governance, impacting an estimated 10,000–15,000 individuals annually in Arusha District and surrounding areas.
Through this mission, Forecasted Africa positions itself as a knowledge-driven, community-centered organization, ensuring that development initiatives are measurable, inclusive, and sustainable, with tangible results for communities and local systems.
