Forecasted Africa aligns its work with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) while addressing the persistent challenge of poverty in Tanzania and the wider African context. By combining research, community engagement, and accountability, the organization ensures that local interventions contribute to measurable, long-term improvements in people’s livelihoods.
SDG 1 – No Poverty
Forecasted Africa supports initiatives that enhance household resilience, income-generation, and access to basic services, targeting over 10,000 individuals annually in Arusha District and surrounding communities. Programs include capacity-building for small-scale livelihoods, linking communities to local resources, and promoting inclusive participation in decision-making to reduce vulnerability.
SDG 4 – Quality Education
Improving access to education and skills development for 5,000–7,000 individuals annually, especially youth and women, to enhance employability and break cycles of poverty
SDG 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation:
Strengthening community access to safe water and sanitation while improving local governance and accountability, benefiting approximately 10 communities per year.
SDG 13 – Climate Action & Environmental Sustainability
Promoting sustainable natural resource management and climate-adaptive practices, helping communities reduce climate-related poverty risks
SDG 16 – Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions
Supporting transparent and accountable governance, resulting in 20–30% improvement in local responsiveness and public service delivery.
SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals
Leveraging collaborations with local, national, and international partners to scale interventions and maximize impact on poverty reduction and multi-sectoral development outcomes.
